What are some of your hobbies/interests? I am a HUGE WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) fan. I love the WWE’s flair, style and showmanship along with professionalism.
Why did you become a DJ?: I became a DJ entertainment and event producer because I can’t sing or dance.
What’s important to you about working at Sight & Sound Events? The most important thing about Sight & Sound Events and why I created this company is to celebrate life’s amazing moments! To create an unforgettable experience. I have the best job in the world. Think about it…what other job pays you to party and produce events that puts smiles on faces.
What’s your favorite song to play at a wedding and why? The song that ROCKS a wedding because it truly gets all age groups on the floor is PLAY THAT FUNKY MUSIC (Wild Cherry). As soon as you hear the opening riff you immediately start to move.
What general advice would you give a couple preparing for their wedding? The best advice that I can give to a wedding couple and a corporate client is to COMMUNICATE and TRUST your event team. Be clear on what you want and what you don’t want at your event. Trust the professionals because we are the ones that rock events every day but always remember that is your event. Make sure your event professional understands and is flexible.
What should every couple know before meeting with their wedding DJ? Do your homework on the company ahead of time, we live in a social media world. Follow, like and interact with the company you are working with so that you stay connected not only in the weeks or months leading up to your event, but also in the future.
What has been your most memorable event moment thus far? Every event I produce is memorable for sure. However, when I get to add in some extra entertainment like celebrity impersonators, showgirls, caricature artists, magic and some fun out of the box entertainment elements just makes it so much more fun!
Describe your DJ style? My style is entertaining without being cheesy. The fact that I love the WWE has advantages as I know how to ROCK the microphone and bring the energy to a whole new level.
How do you know when you’re doing a good job? I know I’m doing a great job when I see the smiles on the faces and the cell phones filming of those attending my event.
How would others describe you? At my events when I am performing, I’m described as FUN, ENERGIZING and EXCITING. When I am at work it’s #GIRLBOSS mode. I’m honest, real and get the job done.
What was the last thing you said to yourself just before you got out of bed this morning? It’s a NEW DAY for new opportunities!
