Myriota Announces General Availability of HyperPulse, Expanding Global 5G NTN IoT Connectivity

Myriota Announces General Availability of HyperPulse, Expanding Global 5G NTN IoT Connectivity

    Key Highlights

    • Myriota launches HyperPulse, a next-generation global IoT connectivity network built on 5G NTN architecture.
    • The service is now available in the US, Mexico, Brazil, Australia and Saudi Arabia, with expansion planned across Latin America, Europe and Southeast Asia.
    • HyperPulse delivers lower latency and larger data allowances, powering advanced IoT applications across environmental monitoring, utilities, transport, agriculture and more.

Myriota has announced the General Availability of HyperPulse, its high-performance, space-enabled IoT network designed to bring resilient connectivity to any point on Earth.

The network is available from the 15th December in the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Australia and Saudi Arabia. It is expected to deliver improved speed, capacity and reliability for global Internet of Things (IoT) deployments.

Early Access Program users have already adopted HyperPulse for environmental monitoring, oil and gas operations, asset visibility and large-scale animal tracking.

This rollout reinforces Myriota’s position in the IoT and satellite-connectivity ecosystem, addressing long-standing challenges related to coverage gaps, transmission costs and limited data allowances. It also strengthens technological advancements shaping the broader IoT landscape.

A 5G NTN Architecture Engineered for High-Performance IoT

HyperPulse is powered by Myriota’s proprietary 5G Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) technology and supported by L-band satellite capacity from Viasat. This new architecture introduces an optimisation layer that adjusts network behaviour in real time, balancing latency, throughput and environmental factors for uninterrupted performance.

Compared to Myriota’s UltraLite service that is known for ultra-low power consumption, HyperPulse expands capability across multiple fronts, including higher daily data limits and enhanced sensor-level intelligence.

This development unlocks new opportunities for industries requiring richer data transmissions, such as:

    • High-precision asset tracking for fleets, rail, shipping containers and heavy machinery
    • Smart metering for utilities and energy providers
    • Advanced environmental and climate monitoring
    • Agricultural tools including virtual fencing and livestock behaviour analytics

These improvements signal a major step forward for industries relying on rugged, reliable and wide-area IoT connectivity.

Global Expansion and Developer Support in 2026

Myriota plans to extend HyperPulse coverage into additional Latin American territories like Argentina, and expand further into Europe and Southeast Asia in early 2026.

Built on 3GPP 5G NTN standards and compatible with an expanding NTN-ready chipset ecosystem, the network has already certified Nordic’s nRF9151 module, with more certifications underway.

To accelerate adoption, Myriota is introducing the HyperPulse Developer Kit, a robust prototyping solution featuring long-life battery power, multiple sensors and weatherproof casing. This toolkit enables faster product development and smoother integration for IoT innovators worldwide.

Ben Cade, CEO of Myriota, highlighted the breakthrough, stating that, “With HyperPulse, we’re making 5G non-terrestrial connectivity a practical reality for IoT at scale, by delivering higher data allowances, lower latency and standards based coverage, HyperPulse gives organisations the ability to track and monitor assets, gather insights and make decisions – even in the most remote and challenging environments. With a roadmap of new features coming next year, this is an exciting step forward for IoT connectivity worldwide.”
